Community Presence

Scott Heinlein, P.T., spoke with the 2014 coaches of Hickory Soccer regarding Injury Prevention and Proper Warm-up/ Training for youth soccer players involved in the Hickory Soccer Program.  The presentation was well-received, and the Hickory Soccer Program has taken steps to implement the information presented to reduce injury risk to young soccer players.  Emphasis was on information from the large-scale study performed by FIFA developing an injury prevention program (FIFA 11+).

Brett Clark, P.T., and Marci Benda, M.P.T., have worked with the marathon and half-marathon training groups who are training for the Baltimore Running Festival.  They help Charm City Run in providing guidance, information, and injury assessment and prevention to the runners who are training for the marathon.

LifeStrength Physical Therapy is also proud to assist The Little Sisters of the Poor in raising money to assist the residents of St. Martin's Home through the Run For The Nuns.  We would like to thank all of our patients who have so generously joined with the community to help the needs of the elderly and the Little Sisters of the Poor who take care of them.

"I do want to thank you for helping my child get from not swimming at all to making big improvements this season.

I have seen a huge improvement in my sciatica/back problem, and I've only really been doing the exercises you showed me .  I had a 3:32 marathon back in May and was happy with that, given my erratic training.  Much appreciated!"
